How the World perceives Mensans

As the name goes, give a dog as bad name and ...

The Wilmington Star website reviews Dupree and starts with this choice paragraph. "You know: The buddy from high school (or maybe college) who's the life of the party but doesn't know when to leave, the merry prankster who instigates all the stunts but who never quite grows up. He's the MENSA member who's still trying to find himself at 36, who knows all the answers but can't hold a job, maintain a relationship or find someplace to live other than a dorm-room substitute."

I've met one or two mensans who wold fall into that category. Mind you I know someone who got a double first from Cambridge and was supported/indulged by his parents and has never woirked a day in his life. He's not in Mensa though I've no doubt of his intelligence. But generally I think this type of person is the exception, not the standard. There are a number of mensans whose Emotionbal Intelligence (people skills etc) does not match their IQ. Does anyone give lessons on improving your EQ?
