Rowena is …. What day is it? Depending on your answer, hers might be language teacher, writer or poet. Or indeed, one of the other hats she wears, such as that of Scottish Officer, a post she’s held since 1998. She is one of the founder members of Makar Press, a poetry collective with strong Ayrshire connections that is gaining an impressive reputation for their highly accessible poetry and dynamic readings.
